The City of Sorel-Tracy is an ideal location for 2M Resources, because of its maritime and rail infrastructures. Given its enormous potential for economic development and preference for green technology companies, the location seemed a natural fit with the company’s missions.

Glass crushing operations can generate dust. To mitigate that inconvenience, 2M’s operations will take place inside the facility and the company will install dust collectors where necessary.

Processing happens prior to recycling. It prepares the materials by removing impurities and adjusts the granulometry to remelting industry standards (for making new glass containers, for example). The recyclers then incorporate the recycled material into their final product.
