In 2006, 2M Resources relocated to Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, marking an important step in its expansion. The move allowed the company to broaden its activities and bolster its capacity to process recyclable materials.

Partnership with Nespresso
2M Resources became Nespresso's Quebec partner for processing coffee capsules. This strategic partnership reinforced the company's commitment to sustainability and innovation.

Expansion into the United States
The Quebec-based company began working with American partners to develop glass recycling in the northeastern United States. That expansion resulted in the opening of a new plant near Boston, Massachusetts, bringing 2M Resources' expertise to the American market. The plant handles glass consignments from four U.S. states.

From composting to biomethanization
The company shifted from composting the coffee grounds contained in Nespresso capsules to biomethanization, thereby improving its environmental impact.

2M Resources celebrates its 25th anniversary!
Since its foundation in 1999, 2M Resources has succeeded in diverting over a million tonnes of glass from Quebec landfill sites for re-melting, making it a key partner for the government in achieving its environmental targets. Every tonne of glass processed by 2M Resources is reintegrated into the value chain, making the Quebec-based company a choice partner for companies concerned about their environmental footprint.
