Partnerships
At 2M Resources, we are proud to collaborate with a host of organizations recognized for their expertise and commitment to environmental sustainability. Our partnerships enable us to recycle a wide range of materials, thus actively contributing to the circular economy. Here is a detailed presentation of our main partnerships and the materials we recycle through these collaborations.

Nespresso
Since 2015, 2M Resources has been recycling used Nespresso capsules collected throughout Quebec. The processing of the capsules is a perfect illustration of the circular economy: the coffee grounds are separated from the aluminum capsules and processed through biomethanization, while the aluminum is recycled in its entirety. Like 2M Resources, Nespresso is committed to sustainability and the environment.
O-I (Owens-Illinois)
We supply Owen-Illinois with 99% pure glass, which is the only glass of this calibre that is suitable for remelting into new bottles. This partnership illustrates our commitment to high-quality practices that support sustainable production. The partnership with Owen-Illinois, whose plant in Montreal is the only glass bottle melter in Quebec, is a testament to our commitment to sustainable local production.
Owens Corning
2M Resources supplies Owen Corning with quality glass, which reaches the level of purity required for the manufacture of glass insulating wool. This partnership helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions and reinforces our contribution to the circular economy.
Knauf
As with Owen Corning, we supply Knauff with glass that meets the standards required for the production of glass insulating wool. We also work closely with Knauff in the management of the glass processing plant in Massachusetts, near Boston.

Centre de traitement de la biomasse de la Montérégie (CTBM)
CTBM, which is located close to our facilities, is a choice partner for the treatment of organic materials extracted from containers, such as coffee grounds contained in Nespresso capsules and expired beer and soft drink liquids, guaranteeing environmentally-friendly processing of these materials.
Ville de Saint-Hyacinthe
The city of Saint-Hyacinthe, with its modern biomethanization facilities, is an ideal ally for the management of organic waste. Located close to our operations, this collaboration enables us to treat organic materials recovered from containers, such as expired beverages like beer, in an environmentally-friendly way.
